I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin. I know what it means to work hard, keep your word, and build something that lasts. That's still how I operate today.

Over the past 25 years I've built a career solving technology problems for some of the largest organizations in the world — managing budgets in the tens of millions, leading global teams, and designing the kind of infrastructure that keeps big businesses running. I've worked across industries most small businesses know well: retail, insurance, financial services, manufacturing, food services, and warehousing and distribution.

But here's the truth — most small and mid-size businesses in towns like yours never get access to that level of expertise. They get oversold, underserved, or left to figure it out on their own.

That's exactly why I started this practice. Not to bring you buzzwords or a stack of slides — but to sit down with you, understand your business, and give you honest, practical guidance on how technology can work for you instead of against you.

An MSP fixes things when they break and manages your day-to-day IT. I help you decide what to do, what to buy, who to hire, and what to cut — strategy, not break-fix. Most of my clients keep their existing IT support and use me to make sure that support is pointed at the right things.

Most engagements start with a fixed-fee assessment in the low-to-mid four figures, depending on scope. Ongoing advisory retainers are typically a few hundred to a few thousand dollars a month. We talk pricing on the first call so there are no surprises.

That is one of the most common things I do. If you have a quote from a vendor, an MSP proposal, or a cloud migration plan and you want someone with no skin in the game to review it — I am happy to help. Most second opinions take a few hours.

Almost never. My job is usually to make them more effective by giving them clearer direction. If you do need a change, I will tell you honestly and help you find the right replacement.

The discovery call usually happens within a few days of you reaching out. Most assessments kick off within two weeks. If something is urgent, say so — I will work with you.

Then it is not a fit. I would rather refer you to someone better suited than take work I should not. Your time is too valuable for either of us to pretend.
